Police Financial Crimes Unit Announces Formation of 18 Fraud Cases Related to Hamster Combat Game

The social deputy of FATA Cyber Police announced the formation of 18 fraud cases related to the Hamster Combat game.

Ramin Pashaei stated on Tuesday, June 11, that these cases were related to advertisements on Instagram or Telegram, where individuals claimed to sell game cards or extra codes to citizens for receiving six million additional coins.

Mr. Pashaei also mentioned the possibility of another type of fraud, where some user accounts under the name of this game ask for money from individuals and even hack his account to deceive others.

In the Hamster Combat game on the Telegram social network, users are asked to repeatedly tap and earn money on their phone screens, hoping to receive cryptocurrency coins by hitting the coin symbols in the game.

There are many ambiguities surrounding this game.
