The director of Haqani Port due to severe dust storms has closed passenger ports in Hormozgan Province.

Alireza Adimi, the director of Haqani Port in Bandar Abbas, announced on Monday, August 24, that due to the dust storm in this city and reduced horizontal visibility, passenger port activities from Bandar Abbas to the islands of Qeshm and Hormuz and vice versa have been halted.

According to Adimi, this situation will continue until the end of the storm.

Simultaneously, Fars News Agency reported that in the northern regions of Hormozgan Province, heavy rainfall has led to flooding. The published images show widespread waterlogging in the streets.
