Hamed Yazdi Mehr, Director General of Crisis Management of Tehran Province, stated that according to weather forecasts, from Sunday afternoon to Wednesday, the development of convective clouds and sporadic showers are expected.

He added that the predicted system’s area of effect is the slopes and heights of northern Tehran province, especially the northeastern heights.

The Director General of Crisis Management of Tehran Province warned people to stay away from rivers due to the possibility of surface water flow, flooding of some streets, and the potential for seasonal rivers and channels to become flooded.
