The Minister of Energy: Power outages will continue until the end of the year

As the hot season arrives and the energy crisis in Iran intensifies, the Minister of Energy in the Meshkini administration responded to a question from a reporter from Seda va Sima about when the power outages would end by saying they will continue until the end of the year.

On Friday, May 15, Abbas Aliabadi, without mentioning the infrastructural problems in the country, once again called for reduced electricity consumption, stating that we have been facing this issue since 2018, but we keep passing the problem around.

We are waiting for shipments to arrive, and power outages will continue until the end of the year.
