Presence of Seyyed Mohammad Khatami at the Tomb of Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani
Today, Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi Khoeini, Isa Valaei, Majid Ansari, and other members of the Association of Combatant Clerics were present at the tomb of Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, attending at the tomb of Imam Khomeini and during the ceremony of renewing the pledge by the members of the Association of Combatant Clerics with the late Imam, stated that he believes the Islamic Republic can fulfill the needs of our time, the people’s demands, and open a path to a better life which this nation deserves.
I hope the Almighty God helps us in defending the Imam or at least in declaring these matters: how we recognize the Imam with what stance, what he and the people wanted, and if there has been a deviation from that issue, what we should do to rescue ourselves from that deviation so that we can act in accordance with God’s pleasure and the interests of the country’s people and society.
