The President of Turkey has stated that the United States and Britain intend to turn the Red Sea into a sea of blood.

In response to the international reactions to the attacks by the United States and Britain against the Houthis, the President of Turkey has said that the United States and Britain intend to turn the Red Sea into a sea of blood. Erdogan has also described the attacks as an inappropriate use of force compared to the movements of the Houthis.

On Friday, Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, called the attacks by the United States and Britain against the Houthis in Yemen illegal according to international law and condemned them. He said that the resolution of the Security Council on Thursday, which Russia abstained from voting on, did not authorize any attacks on the United States and Britain.

In this regard, Mr. Peskov said that Russia has repeatedly asked the Houthis to refrain from attacking ships in the Red Sea.

The spokesperson for the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday in Tokyo that Japan supports its allies’ condemnation of the actions of the Houthis, who have been causing damage, including to Japanese-owned ships, in their recent attacks, as they strive to secure maritime security.
