The Prime Minister of Pakistan: The Mecca Memorandum is not for aggression

Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, stated that the goal of the trilateral defense agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkey is to strengthen unity in the Islamic world and contribute to peace and stability in the region.

He emphasized that this pact will never be for aggression, and the three countries will cooperate to enhance stability, development, and the welfare of the region’s people.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister had previously announced that the nature of this pact is defensive and that other countries in the region can join it.
