Prince Reza Pahlavi: My role is to lead the transition.

Prince Reza Pahlavi, in his press conference, reiterated the plan he has for the transition period in Iran, stating that after the formation of the Constitutional Council and its proposal, when the constitution is approved, a parliament will be formed.

Prince Reza Pahlavi further stated that if the next government is a republic, a president will be elected, and if it is monarchical, a prime minister will be chosen. My role is to lead this transition, to bring together all the elements. From day one, someone has to collect the garbage, trains must run on time, and essential services must be provided. At this stage, we want maximum participation and the fastest transition possible.

Prince Reza Pahlavi continued by saying the tools are already in place. We ask people to remain in their jobs, and we will seek help from the international community to pay their salaries. All of this has been thoroughly reviewed and presented in 170 pages.
