Professors Ragheb and Zeilani have been suspended

According to some professors at Shahid Beheshti University, Negar Zeilabi, an assistant professor in the Department of History and Civilization of Islamic Nations at the Faculty of Theology, and Dr. Mohammad Ragheb, an assistant professor of Persian Language and Literature at this university, have been banned from entering.

Dr. Ragheb reported his suspension due to supporting students, but at the end of his message, he stated that he has not yet received any order regarding the entry ban.

He mentioned on his Instagram page that because he has not attended classes in protest of the street and university situation and participated in a student gathering along with other colleagues, he was removed from his position at the International Center for Azfa and the Shahid Ravaqi Research Center without any official announcement, and his access to the university’s email and Golestan system was blocked.

Additionally, before attending the university’s preliminary disciplinary board and the announcement of the decision regarding his academic status, he was suspended, and his monthly salary was cut off. Interestingly, it seems he also has to return the salary for the month of Mehr.
