Putin: Ukraine’s counteroffensives have failed

The Russian President claimed on Tuesday, June 13, that Ukraine’s large-scale counteroffensives have not been successful on any front and that Ukraine’s casualties are ten times those of Russia.

In a meeting with Russian war correspondents and military bloggers, which was broadcast on television, Vladimir Putin added that Ukraine’s counteroffensives began on June 4.

He claimed that during these battles, over 160 tanks and between 25 to 30 percent of the armored and military vehicles that the Ukrainian army received from other countries were destroyed, while the Russian army lost only 54 tanks.
