According to the announcement by the Central Election Commission of Russia, the voter turnout in this election was over 70%. In this election, 112.31 million people within Russia and 1.89 million citizens of this country in 144 countries around the world were eligible to vote
Vladislav Davankov, 40 years old, a current member of the Duma from the New People Party, Leonid Slutsky, 56 years old, a member of the Duma and head of the Liberal Democratic Party, and Nikolai Kharitonov, 75 years old, deputy of the Communist Party of Russia, were Putin’s main rivals in this election
