Qalibaf: America’s goal is to activate economic pressure and internal conflicts in Iran
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament said in an audio message that Washington seeks to increase economic pressure and create internal divisions to weaken the country.
Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, announced in an audio message that the United States has entered a new phase of pressure against Iran and is trying to intensify economic pressure and internal conflicts through a naval blockade and media actions.
He said these actions are aimed at weakening the country from within and forcing Iran to retreat.
Qalibaf, referring to Donald Trump’s recent positions, added that raising the issue of divisions among internal factions while simultaneously emphasizing an economic blockade is part of this strategy.
The Speaker also emphasized the necessity of maintaining internal cohesion and warned that any divisive action will be assessed as aligned with the opposing side’s goals.
He further claimed that previous stages of pressure against Iran have failed and stressed that Iran will achieve victory in this conflict.
