Qalibaf: We won the war both militarily and politically

Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated that Iran truly won the recent war both militarily and politically, describing the memorandum of understanding achieved as a document of pride and victory for Iran in the field of diplomacy.

Qalibaf told parliamentary reporters that the United States and Israel entered the war with specific and declared objectives, but according to him, they did not achieve any of their goals at any level, considering this as their absolute defeat and Iran’s victory.

The Speaker of the Assembly also mentioned that this victory has not been properly conveyed to the public. He believes that our nation has not felt this victory in the way it actually occurred.

He added that when people ask what happened now, it means that the authorities have not been able to explain and narrate the dimensions of this victory to the society as they should have.

Qalibaf emphasized that the military victory does not mean the destruction of the U.S. or Israeli armies, but rather their failure to achieve the objectives that, according to him, they had officially and repeatedly announced before the attacks began.
