Signing of a $200 million contract between Qatar and the United States for the purchase of airplanes

On Wednesday, during Donald Trump’s visit, the President of the United States, to the Gulf Arab country, Qatar signed an agreement with the American company Boeing to purchase airplanes for Qatar Airways.

Trump announced that the value of this agreement is $200 billion and includes 160 aircraft.

He was present at the signing ceremony of this contract in Doha along with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.
