Rashidi Koochee, a Member of Parliament, believes society has a positive view of death sentences.

Rashidi Koochee, a member of the Commission for Internal Affairs, stated that no protester has been executed, not even the rioters, except for those who used cold weapons and engaged in intimidation and threats, which would result in the same consequences anywhere else.

Regarding this issue, a few days ago in my electoral district, during various gatherings at mosques and programs where I spoke directly with the people, I found that society actually has a positive view on such matters and considers them deterrent. At least, this was the case among the individuals I interacted with.
