Reaction of Javan newspaper to the unveiling of Afsaneh Bayegan: It would have been better if you had chosen modesty during these fleeting days of old age.

Javan newspaper, referring to Afsaneh Bayegan’s appearance without a hijab at an event, wrote:

BBC Persian is focusing on unveiled elderly women, publishing news and reports of their memorial events and stories.

Firstly, the hijab is not obligatory for elderly women, and for those who are only remembered by their grandparents from TV series, whether they wear a hijab or not doesn’t make a difference religiously.

Secondly, some of these individuals have undergone so many surgeries that it’s hard to recognize if they are truly the actors claimed by the BBC.

Thirdly, from the stories it appears that these grandmothers are saddened and regretful for not being able to stand out in their youth, and now in their old age, they do not abandon the spectacle. It would have been better if they had chosen modesty during these fleeting days of old age, as it would have been more concealing even for themselves.

Additionally, this Iranian actress had said in a television program three years ago that she loves the revolution and its leader, and that she owes a lot to the Islamic Revolution.
