The Ministry of Sports and Youth emphasized that the former member of the Iranian national skating team participated in the competitions in Turkey without the permission of the Transnational Council.

The Ministry of Sports and Youth announced that Niloufar Mardani participated in the skating competitions in Turkey without obtaining the necessary permission from the Transnational Council.

This ministry, while emphasizing the preservation of Islamic values in sports competitions and recalling the championships and achievements of Iranian female athletes in various fields while maintaining Islamic hijab, condemned Niloufar Mardani’s lack of adherence to the approved attire by the women’s affairs department of this ministry. It announced that, according to information received from the skating federation, this athlete has not been a member of the Iranian national team since last month and participated in these competitions on a personal trip without obtaining the necessary permission from the Transnational Council of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. Additionally, the Iranian national team did not participate in these competitions.
