Regional authorities in Russia have risen against Putin
A group of representatives and regional officials in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and some other major cities in Russia have published a letter requesting Putin’s resignation. The number of supporters and signatories of the letter is increasing.
Although such a public move by Russian officials initially seemed unbelievable, the publication of the letter and the registration of new signatures by various regional officials have confirmed this news. It is unclear how the Kremlin will deal with the signatories and supporters of Putin’s resignation.
