Relying on the European Union is like writing a keepsake on ice.
Although most conservative media outlets in recent days, with the exception of one or two, cannot hide their inclination to revive the JCPOA, they are still trying to balance their stance to avoid criticism from hardline factions.
In the meantime, the newspaper Javan, which is close to the IRGC, wrote that in recent years, it was Iran in the nuclear negotiations that had to choose between bad and worse regarding Western proposals. However, now the situation has completely changed, and it is the Western side that must choose between bad and worse.
The newspaper continued, saying that relying on the draft proposed by the European Union is due to naivety, misplaced trust, immaturity, and is, so to speak, like writing a keepsake on a block of ice.
Javan added that the current situation benefits us, and if the Western side follows the path of rationality, they have no choice but to return to respecting the rights of the Iranian nation and securing Iran’s minimal interests in the JCPOA.
