The removal of Mehran Modiri from IRIB
In the past few months, the head of IRIB, in the face of the turmoil that occurred this fall, many figures and artists tried to inform themselves and gain sufficient knowledge and understanding about the reality, and did not rush into expressing immediate emotional opinions.
Some may have entered emotional and sentimental spaces based on incorrect information or incomplete and incorrect analysis.
As a result, they had opinions that may not have been aligned with the realities and the actual social developments in Iran.
In response to the question of whether there is any prohibition on broadcasting the ‘Dorehami’ program with the presence of Mehran Modiri and ultimately where this program is heading, the head of IRIB highlighted that for various reasons, the ‘Dorehami’ series is currently not on the agenda. What will happen in the future is another discussion.
