Removal of Kazem Sadeghi's name from the list of speakers at the Imam Sadegh University Night of Destiny ceremony

Kazem Sadeghi’s name has been removed from the list of speakers for the night of Qadr ceremony at Imam Sadegh University.

Imam Sadegh University announced the removal of Kazem Sadeghi’s name from the list of speakers for the night of Qadr ceremony.

In a statement, the university cited the reason for removing the name of Tehran’s temporary Friday prayer leader due to scheduling conflicts and coordination issues.

Earlier, Imam Sadegh University had announced that Kazem Sadeghi would be one of the speakers for the night of Qadr ceremony, which sparked protests.

Kazem Sadeghi, Tehran’s temporary Friday prayer leader and head of the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice headquarters, has been accused of corruption.

According to revelations by Yashar Soltani, former editor-in-chief of Memari News, Kazem Sadeghi allegedly acquired a garden measuring four thousand and two hundred square meters in Azgol area of Tehran at 150 times below market value, with the help of his sons.
