The representative of Chabahar stated that the implementation of the preservation plan was carried out under the pretext of the country’s conditions.

Mo’in al-Din Saeedi, the representative of Chabahar in the parliament, said that what was raised in the preservation plan was practically implemented under the pretext of the country’s conditions.

This parliamentary representative, regarding the lifting of restrictions imposed on social media, said that Mr. Raeisi should consider their slogans before the elections and take action to remove the restrictions that have been created in the virtual space.

He also added that officials should be able to tweet one after another and express their opinions on Instagram, but the people should not have access. This is a clear example of discrimination that contradicts the third principle of the constitution.

It has been said that one of the main goals of the so-called preservation plan is extensive filtering of networks and internet services for the people of Iran after the establishment of its domestic infrastructure.

Instagram, which is one of the most popular social networks in Iran, and the messaging app WhatsApp were filtered when protests began after the death of Mahsa Amini during her detention at the Guidance Patrol. These protests started in September of this year.
