Results of a study: Instagram is the most popular social network among Iranians.
According to the results of a national survey on social media culture, Instagram is the favorite social media platform for 72% of Iranians. Additionally, Telegram and WhatsApp are popular among 52% and 46% of people respectively.
According to domestic media reports in Iran, Majid Soleimani, the presenter of this survey, mentioned on Thursday, July 11th that the national plan for social media culture was conducted in Ordibehesht month on over 14,500 individuals above the age of 31. The results also showed that domestic social networks such as Rubika and Eitaa have less popularity with 42% and 32% respectively compared to other platforms.
Hosseini stated that 24% of this statistical population declared that they do not use any domestic social networks at all.
According to statistics, 90% of Iranian users use VPNs.
