Pensioners’ salaries will increase by 38 percent

The pension payment orders for Social Security retirees have been issued based on the new resolution. From this month, the pensions for other wage levels will be paid with a 38 percent increase plus an additional monthly amount of 515,000 tomans compared to last year. At the same time, the issue of workers’ housing allowance has been settled, and it is likely that from October, the housing allowance for workers will be 650,000 tomans, reflecting a 200,000 toman increase compared to last year. Meanwhile, the plan to increase government employees’ salaries is also under review, and the details will be clarified after the funding is secured.
