Reuters: European countries agreed to add 10 new items to the sanctions on Iran
Reuters news agency reported on Wednesday, May 23, citing an informed source, that the member countries of the European Union agreed to add 10 new items to the sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
This source, who wished to remain anonymous, said that this action is related to the Islamic Republic’s military presence in the Middle East and the Red Sea, as well as its military support in the war against Ukraine.
European leaders had agreed to increase sanctions against the Tehran government following the Islamic Republic’s missile and drone attack on Israel.
