Reuters: Trump says he doesn’t need China to solve the Iran crisis

Reuters reported that Donald Trump, before arriving in Beijing, announced that he doesn’t need China’s help to end the war with Iran and reduce Tehran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump said we will win in any way, whether peacefully or otherwise.

According to Reuters, at the same time, Iran is expanding energy agreements with Pakistan and Iraq, and Iranian officials have described control over the Strait of Hormuz as a long-term strategic goal.

Reuters also reported that a Chinese supertanker carrying two million barrels of Iraqi oil passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, marking the third known passage of Chinese tankers since the war began.

The report says that with the continued disruption in Middle Eastern oil supply, the International Energy Agency has predicted that global oil supply in 2026 will be less than demand.

Reuters also wrote that Trump, in response to a question about the economic pressure of the war on American citizens, said, ‘I don’t think about the financial situation of Americans at all; I only think that Iran should not have nuclear weapons.’
