Revelation by a Member of Parliament about the Elections: We Frequently Witnessed the Phenomenon of Imported National ID Numbers
Somayeh Mahmoudi, the representative of the people of Shahreza in the eleventh parliament, stated: The phenomenon that occurred in this election is the imported national ID numbers, which we frequently witnessed. There were many individuals whose votes were cast using their national ID numbers, and upon visiting the ballot box, they realized that votes had been cast on their behalf. Representatives believed that in some electoral districts, there were instances of money being distributed for the purpose of buying and selling votes.
Some even reported that the price for buying individuals’ votes in certain electoral districts ranged from one hundred thousand to one million five hundred thousand tomans.
