Reza Davoodnejad, popular Iranian comedian, has passed away

Reza Davoudnejad, an Iranian cinema actor, has passed away at the age of 43 after a liver transplant surgery.

Nayimeh Nazamdoost, an actress and a friend of Reza Davoudnejad, confirmed the death of this actor in an interview with IRNA news agency.

She said, ‘I spoke with Ghazal Badiyi, the wife of this artist, a few hours ago and realized that Reza Davoudnejad passed away today, on the 13th of Farvardin, due to complications from the liver transplant in the hospital.’

According to her, Mr. Davoudnejad had been hospitalized for more than a month at Namazi Hospital in Shiraz.

He started his cinematic activities by appearing in the films of his father, Alireza Davoudnejad, an Iranian cinema director.
