Robert Malley’s Criticism of the Government’s Treatment of Doctors in Suppressing Protests
Robert Malley, the U.S. Special Envoy for Iran, has criticized the Iranian government’s treatment of doctors who have treated injured protesters.
According to Mr. Malley, the Iranian government should not prosecute these doctors.
Mr. Malley wrote on Twitter that doctors take an oath to save lives and should not be arrested or threatened for treating injured protesters. The targeting of medical staff by government officials must end.
