According to the ruling of Romania’s Supreme Court issued on December 6th, the country’s presidential elections must be completely re-held.

The first round of the presidential elections in Romania was held on November 24th.

In this stage of the elections, no candidate won an absolute majority of the votes, and the second round of elections was scheduled to be held on December 8th.
