Rostam Ghasemi: Housing cannot be built in one year
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development, expressing dissatisfaction with government agencies, stated that so far only 4% of the agencies’ lands have been allocated to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, and the rest of the lands belong to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
Ghasemi, in a television program discussing the actions taken in the housing sector over the past year, stated that the existing gap in the housing sector is due to the lack of actions in the housing sector by the previous government, which has led to an increase in housing prices.
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development added that housing cannot be built in one year; it takes time. However, so far we have managed to provide land for one and a half million units, and I hope we can carry out the construction of 2 million units within two years.
