Rouhani’s jab at Raisi: Didn’t you say these people don’t know how to manage the stock market? We will come and manage it.

During the 2021 presidential election, one of the most repeated slogans of Ebrahim Raisi and his allies, who are now part of the thirteenth government, was to solve the stock market issues.

As Amirhossein Qazizadeh, Raisi’s cover candidate, had said, the stock market problem could be solved in three days, and this matter requires a governmental order and the president’s directive.

In his periodic meeting with ministers and vice presidents from the eleventh and twelfth governments, Hassan Rouhani recalled the current officials’ promises to the people to solve economic problems, fight corruption, and quickly restart all closed workshops, saying: Today, those special conditions definitely do not exist, and the oil sales situation has changed significantly. They claimed they were all united and would help each other to solve the problems. They said these people don’t know how to manage the stock market; we will come and manage it.
