Rubio about Iran: We might announce something in the coming days

Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, said that progress has been made in negotiations with Iran and we might have something to say today or tomorrow.

Mr. Rubio emphasized that Tehran must hand over enriched uranium and open the Strait of Hormuz.

In a conversation with reporters in New Delhi, he said that there might be new news regarding Iran later today, or maybe not. I hope it happens, but I’m not sure yet. Progress has been made.

He stressed that even right now, as I’m speaking to you, steps are being taken. There is a possibility that later today, tomorrow, or maybe in a few days, we might have something to say. But this issue must be resolved in some way. Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.
