Russia allows UN atomic agency inspectors to enter Zaporizhzhia
Russian President Vladimir Putin says he will allow United Nations inspectors to visit the Zaporizhzhia plant in Ukraine
The Kremlin announced this news following a phone call between Mr. Putin and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron
Earlier, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, during a trip to Ukraine and a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed deep concern about the ongoing conflicts near the plant
Mr. Guterres told the BBC that military activities around the plant must stop and urged Moscow to allow inspectors from the organization to visit the plant
