Russia Expresses Readiness to Assist Pakistan in Mediating Between Iran and the USA

Russia expressed readiness to help mediate between Iran and the United States through Pakistan.

The Russian ambassador to Pakistan announced that Moscow is ready to support Islamabad’s diplomatic efforts to end the U.S. war against Iran.

In an interview with TASS news agency, Albert Khorov described Pakistan’s role in the mediation process as significant and said Russia is prepared to assist these efforts.

He expressed hope that international cooperation would lead to the end of the war and the establishment of lasting peace in the Persian Gulf.

The Russian ambassador also said that Moscow and Islamabad, despite Western sanctions, continue their economic and energy cooperation and are developing alternative routes for financial exchanges.

According to him, the two countries have high potential for joint projects in areas such as hydroelectric transportation, oil, and gas.
