This morning, Saeed Afkari announced the release of his brother, Hamid Afkari, but stated that his sister, Elham Afkari, who was arrested on Thursday, is still on hunger strike.

Yesterday, it was reported that Hamid Afkari was arrested in front of a building known as the detention center of the Ministry of Intelligence in Shiraz.

In recent days, images have been published showing Elham Afkari’s mother and father protesting their daughter’s detention behind the closed doors of this building.
