The father of Saman Seydi Yasin, a prisoner, reports on his son’s health

The father of Saman Seydi Yasin, a detained protest singer in Iran, has shared updates on his son’s health through Instagram stories.

He wrote, ‘We just went and called the prison; he’s doing well.’ In another post, he mentioned, ‘Friends, it was last night that Saman’s situation was good, thank God, and he called until one o’clock today.’

Saman Seydi, known as Saman Yasin, is a Kurdish artist from Kermanshah. He was arrested with severe violence on October 2nd during the Tehran protests and is currently imprisoned in Ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network reports that Saman Yasin, an artist sentenced to death, attempted suicide by taking a large number of pills under prison pressure.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network stated that after a stomach wash and serum injection, he was returned to the political ward in a semi-conscious state.

His father’s statements also refer to these reports.
