A girl from Sanandaj went into a coma after being detained by the Guidance Patrol.

On the morning of Wednesday, September 13th, news spread on social media that on Tuesday night, a young girl was hospitalized at Kasra Hospital in Tehran due to severe injuries and significant brain damage following an altercation with the Guidance Patrol.

This young girl is named Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old from Sanandaj. According to Kiarash, Mahsa’s brother, her detention lasted only two hours before they found her in a coma.

Mahsa Amini had come to Tehran with her family for a leisure trip from Sanandaj, but on Tuesday night, she was detained by the Guidance Patrol in Tehran, transferred to the Tehran facilities, and after two hours, her unconscious body was taken by ambulance to Kasra Hospital in Tehran.

After this news was published on Wednesday, September 13th, the atmosphere at Kasra Hospital became highly secure with the presence of police forces.

Mahsa Amini is currently in a coma. Doctors have diagnosed her with a heart attack and brain stroke and have informed her family that her chances of recovery are slim.
