McDonald’s executives reached a point where they had to publicly declare that they have no relationship, sympathy, or collaboration with Israelis. In fact, many companies have incurred significant losses in Islamic countries in one way or another.

Conditions may be better for some companies like Starbucks and Coca-Cola because their representatives are under pressure to not lose income from wealthy Arabs for top luxury brands like Louis Vuitton. Interestingly, American Restaurants group manages important fast food and American food companies in key Islamic countries.

This company belongs to the Saudi Arabian National Investment Fund, and Saudis derive their main income from selling products of famous companies like KFC, Pizza Hut, and Krispy Kreme in the Middle East and Kazakhstan. The company experienced a 40% decrease in revenue in the second quarter of 2024. This trend in Muslim consumer behavior and supporters of the Palestinian people will continue, and it remains to be seen how famous companies and Arab traders who own or partner with many of these businesses will react.
