Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan, in the presence of Mohammad bin Salman, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Shehbaz Sharif, signed a joint defense agreement known as the Mecca Pact

According to the announcement by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an attack on any of the three countries will be considered an attack on all members of this pact

This agreement was signed amid escalating regional tensions and alongside the ongoing crisis in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea
