Saudi Aramco becomes a sponsor of FIFA

Martin Ziegler, a journalist for the English Times, reports that Saudi Aramco, the oil giant, is set to become one of the main financial sponsors of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).

The value of the contract between FIFA and Aramco is estimated to be around $100 million annually, which will make Saudi Arabia the most valuable sponsor of FIFA.

Moreover, the duration of this contract will extend until 2034, the year Saudi Arabia will host the FIFA World Cup.
