The Saudi Foreign Minister welcomed the Iran-US agreement
Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister, welcomed the agreement between Iran and the United States and expressed hope that this agreement would lead to a reduction in tensions and a return to stability in the region.
He said, ‘We welcome the agreement between the US and Iran and hope that this agreement will pave the way for the return of stability and calm to the region.’
The Saudi Foreign Minister also emphasized Riyadh’s opposition to the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank and said that Saudi Arabia still does not accept these actions.
Bin Farhan’s statements come as countries in the region have recently welcomed the understanding between Tehran and Washington, describing it as a step towards reducing Middle East tensions.
