Seizure of four heavy vehicles with drivers under 15 years old in Yazd

The public prosecutor of Abrakuh, Yazd, says that in the past 72 hours, four heavy vehicles with drivers under 15 years old have been seized in this city.

Mohammad Golestani, on Monday, January 22nd, stated that the prosecutor’s office has issued an order for the long-term seizure of these vehicles and mentioned that one of these vehicles was moving in the wrong direction on the road.

The state news agency IRNA wrote in this regard that the Yazd province traffic police reported several instances this year of heavy vehicles being driven by young drivers on the roads of this province.

This news agency had previously reported that in December of this year, at least five instances of heavy vehicles being driven by underage drivers on the roads of this province were identified.

IRNA announced the ages of these drivers to be between 11 and 16 years old.
