Senior Hamas official Samer al-Hajj was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon.

Reuters reported on Friday night, August 10, citing a source in Hamas and two other security sources in Lebanon, that Samer al-Hajj, a senior Hamas official, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a car in the coastal town of Sidon, Lebanon.

At the same time, the Telegram channel of the IRGC also confirmed the death of Samer al-Hajj.

Samer al-Hajj was targeted by Israel inside a car near a Palestinian refugee camp near Ain al-Hilweh.

According to Reuters news sources, the bodyguard of this Hamas official was also seriously injured in this attack.
