Sent 260 North Korean Trash Balloons to South Korea

North Korea sent 260 trash balloons to South Korea.

In a retaliatory move, North Korea has dropped at least 260 balloons carrying trash over areas of South Korea.

South Korean authorities have instructed the citizens of the country to stay indoors, and the military has also warned people to refrain from touching the white balloons and plastic bags attached to them due to the presence of dirty waste and garbage.

These balloons have been found in eight out of nine provinces of South Korea and are currently under investigation.

Both North and South Korea have used balloons in their propaganda activities since the Korean War in the 1950s.

The South Korean military had previously stated that they are investigating whether there are any propaganda messages from North Korea in the balloons or not.
