Some foreign tourists and local people were killed and injured in Afghanistan.

Two local sources from Bamyan have confirmed to BBc that as a result of shooting by unidentified armed individuals, some foreign tourists and local people in the center of this province were killed and injured.

According to one of these sources, the incident took place around 6 p.m. local time in the market in the center of Bamyan, in front of the Lajward restaurant.

Abdul Matin Qane, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior of the Taliban government, confirmed the occurrence of this attack on foreign tourists in the city of Bamyan in a conversation with BBc, but did not provide further details.

Images sent by one of these sources to BBc show two bodies next to a vehicle that apparently belong to foreign tourists.
