What is primarily important for the education system and every teacher is preserving and safeguarding the spirit and character of students. These students are children and adolescents, meaning they belong to an age group where any harm can affect their personality and behavior for years to come. It seems to me that the Ministry of Education, as part of the government responsible for this very important matter, must make every effort to ensure that students who have emotionally become involved in recent incidents, some of whom might have been caught up or even physically harmed, suffer the least damage in these events.
