Seyyed Hassan Khomeini’s Allusion to Raisi: According to Imam Ali, Do Not Appoint Someone Who Hinders People’s Welfare as an Advisor

Seyyed Hassan Khomeini’s allusion to Raisi, quoting Imam Ali: Do not appoint someone who hinders people’s welfare as an advisor.

During the renewal of the President and government members’ commitment to the ideals of the late Imam, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini said that Imam Ali told Malik Ashtar: Do not include the stingy in your circle of advisors, for their stinginess will turn away virtue from you and the people. In today’s language, anyone with roots in stinginess who hinders welfare will promise you poverty.

He said a manager or an advisor is only an Islamic manager if they are brave, not afraid of words, not terrified of dismissal, and not shaken by foreign enemies.

It seems that the words of the founder of the Islamic Republic’s grandson to the government officials carried a tone of irony, especially during times when part of the political base and allies of the thirteenth government are encouraging the executive branch to adopt policies that, as experience shows, have a negative impact on people’s lives and livelihoods.
