Sohail Jahangiri’s political sponsor warned about his situation
Marcel Hopp, a member of the German parliament and political sponsor of Sohail Jahangiri, a political prisoner arrested in connection with the Iranian protests, has warned about his situation and stated that the trial date for this political prisoner has been set.
Mr. Hopp wrote on Twitter that the court date for Sohail Jahangiri is approaching, and currently, attention to his case, as well as his cousin Saleh Mirhashemi, is important.
Yi Wan Ri, another member of the German parliament who has also taken on the political sponsorship of Iranian political prisoners, republished this tweet in English, stating that Sohail Jahangiri’s trial date is set for next Thursday and called for widespread support for him.
