Soleimani: Some people have replaced having children with raising puppies.
The chairman of the board of the National Association of Hijab Product Producers said the Guidance Patrol should act as a deterrent institution to enforce the law. Why do we talk about the Guidance Patrol as if it is an entity that has come to force or impose on people?
Asadollah Soleimani continued, ‘The Guidance Patrol consists of our own children who enforce the law. The Islamic Republic of Iran’s law is religious, and we do not have compulsory hijab; rather, it is a legal hijab. It is the law of the Islamic Republic of Iran that both women and men must observe hijab. When someone violates the law, the Guidance Patrol, or the police, or any other force is obliged to stop them. Unfortunately, we have been so negligent and careless that these issues have reached our homes.’
He added, ‘The campaign ‘I am veiled, but I am against the Guidance Patrol’ was clearly being directed from outside and did not even last, and some women were deceived into participating in this campaign.’
Soleimani added, ‘We are witnessing that some people have replaced having children with raising puppies.’
